The Cromer Golf Club Junior Development program has been designed to create pathways to ongoing participation and involvement in the game for juniors of all abilities. The program has already proved successful in providing pathways for talented junior golfers including past and present Club Champions, PGA Trainee professionals, representative team players and a number of junior members actively playing golf at Cromer
Under the expert guidance of our team of PGA Professionals, juniors commence by taking part in our Stage 1 and 2 group tuition whereby they learn the fundamental skills as well as introducing them to the basic etiquette and courtesies that are synonymous with our great game.
Having demonstrated sufficient skills, understanding and behaviours, juniors then advance to more advanced coaching and tuition as well as on course play under the supervision of of dedicated group of volunteers. During this stage juniors also learn rules of golf, competition formats and scoring methods.
Once again, when juniors have demonstrated sufficient knowledge and experience, they are then invited to take the next step to junior membership enabling competition golf and course access.
The year is divided in to two terms of approximately 16 weeks duration commencing in February and August. Spaces are limited to ensure each junior receives suitable coaching and supervision.
