Local Rules
(To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf and any temporary Local Rules)
OUT OF BOUNDS: Those areas beyond any line of white stakes with black tops and all boundaries of the Course.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR: Those areas defined by white stakes and/or lines. Clearly defined wheel marks or ruts made by a mower, tractor or motor vehicle (except in a hazard).
GROUND UNDER REPAIR - Play Prohibited: Those gardens defined by green stakes with white tops are GUR from which play is prohibited. If a player's ball lies in such area, or if the area interferes with the player's stance or area of intended swing, the player MUST take relief in accordance with Rule 25-1.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS: The following may be so treated and relief taken (refer Rule 24-2b): Practice putting greens, car park areas, safety screens and practice nets. The following stakes are immovable obstructions: WHITE – GUR YELLOW – water hazard RED – lateral hazard GREEN WITH WHITE TOP - gardens

ORNAMENTAL TREES and SHRUBS: If a tree or a shrub, which is staked and/or guarded, interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player MUST take relief as provided in Rule 24-2b(i) (Immovable Obstruction).

FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS: The specimen Local Rule inthe Rules of Golf, Appendix 1, is in effect - see pages 128-129.

Penalty for Breach of Local Rule: Match Play – Loss of Hole; Stroke Play – Two Strokes
