Welcome to Cromer Golf Club.  We hope you enjoy reading about our facilities and menus and that we are able to assist in the planning of your special day.

Facilities

Our unique reception area is dominated by a soaring cathedral ceiling and expansive windows, providing a panorama across the golf course and bushland setting.

Room Hire
 
Based on a maximum 5 hour function

Cathedral Room Only                  $200.00
Melaleuca Room Only                  $350.00
Cathedral and Melaleuca Rooms   $400.00
On site Cermony In Cathedral Room
$150.00

(applicable only with less than 100 guests or cocktail menu selected)

Extension fee of $165.00 per hour until midnight.

Public Holidays

Sunday and Public Holidays incur a surcharge of 10% on food and beverage costs.
(All quoted costs include a Goods and Services Tax)

 
Venue Reservation

You are invited to make an appointment with our Function Manager to view the venue and discuss your individual requirements.

Once you have decided to have your function at Cromer Golf Club, you will need to reserve the date and within two weeks pay a holding deposit of $500.00.

Deposits are non-refundable unless six months notice is given or the venue is
re-booked.

Final Arrangements and Payments

Two weeks prior to your function, we need to know your menu choices, beverage selections and confirmation of the number of guests. You will be sent an account based on your confirmed numbers, which can be increased, however, any decreases will be charged for.

The food and beverage account must be paid in full seven days prior to the function.  ‘Dry Till’ accounts are to be finalised on the night of the function. Payment can be made by cash, credit card** (excl. Diners and Amex), personal or bank cheque.

** Please note that due to increased bank fees a 1.0% fee will be charged if you wish to pay by credit card (excludes initial deposit).

Final details, such as table plans, place cards and guest lists in alphabetical or table order are required at least two days prior to your function.

Price Change

Most functions are booked well in advance. Catering/Refreshment and staff costs are subject to change and you are advised to contact the Club two months prior to your function to check current prices prior to making your final selections.
All Prices include GST.

Table Decor

Our dining room has circular tables seating eight to ten guests per table. Tablecloths and napkins are white linen. Floral arrangements, place cards, seating lists and table decorations are to be provided by the bride and groom.


POLICIES AND CONDITIONS

No Smoking Policy

To ensure that Cromer Golf Club provides a safe and healthy environment for guests, it is the Club’s policy that no smoking is allowed in the Clubhouse.  Smoking is permitted on the terrace or any outside area.

Damage to Club Property

The person booking the function is responsible for any damage to the Clubhouse or the golf course caused by any of their guests.


Confetti

Confetti is not allowed in the Clubhouse or the grounds.

Gifts

The Club and staff will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of gifts brought to the Club. However, we cannot accept responsibility for losses or damage.

Cromer Golf Club has established a high reputation as a Function Centre.  Club Directors, Managers and staff recognise how important your special occasion is, and endeavour to ensure it is memorable by providing excellence in presentation, food quality and service.

                               


Menus

  • Minimum numbers
    Menus are based on a minimum of 60 guests.  If your numbers fall below 60 then additional charges will apply.
  • Special Dietary Requirements
    Vegetarian and special diet menus can be arranged on request
  • Wedding cake as dessert
    To use your cake as dessert, served with cream and strawberry garnish or raspberry coulis, please reduce the menu price by $3.00 per person.
  • All menus include
    Bread rolls, tea, coffee and chocolates
    Room set-up to include white linen tablecloths, napkins and skirting.
    Professional Catering, Bar and Service staff.
    Levels of staffing that will ensure your guests are well catered for.
  • Childrens meals
    Our childrens menu is designed for children aged between 4 and 11 years. All children over the age of 12 years will be charged full adult prices. 
  • DJ/Photographer's Meals
    The Musicians Award states that all musicians and entertainers booked for four hours or more are entitled to a meal. Cromer Golf Club will provide a meal and unlimited soft drinks at $25.00 per person.
