Booking Terms and Conditions
Venue Reservation You are invited to make an appointment with our Function Manager to view the venue and discuss your individual requirements.
Once you have decided to have your function at Cromer Golf Club, you will need to reserve the date and within two weeks pay a holding deposit of $500.00.
Deposits are non-refundable unless six months notice is given or the venue is re-booked.
You are requested to give as much prior notice as possible. Your bond payment acts as security against damages, breakages and excessive cleaning.
Final Arrangements and Payments Two weeks prior to your function, we need to know your menu choices, beverage selections and confirmation of the minimum number of guests. You will be sent an account based on your confirmed numbers, which can be increased, however, any decreases will be charged for.
The food and beverage account must be paid in full seven days prior to the function. ‘Dry Till’ accounts are to be finalised on the night of the function. Payment can be made by cash, credit card (excl. Diners and Amex), personal or bank cheque.
Final details are required at least two days prior to your function.
Prices All prices are current and subject to revision without notice. Cromer Golf Club will be required to charge GST on all goods and services provided. This amount will be shown as an inclusive price in all menus. If you require a Tax Invoice please make this request upon payment of the initial deposit.
Room Hire Based on a maximum 5 hour function Boardroom $150.00 (all day hire) Cathedral Room Only $150.00 Melaleuca Room Only $300.00 Cathedral and Melaleuca Rooms $350.00
Extension fee of $165.00 per hour until midnight or $220.00 until 1am
Public Holidays Sunday and Public Holidays incur a surcharge of 10% on food and beverage costs. (The above costs include a Goods and Services Tax)
Policies and Conditions
No Smoking Policy To ensure that Cromer Golf Club provides a safe and healthy environment for guests, it is the Club’s policy that no smoking is allowed in the Clubhouse. Smoking is permitted on the terrace or any outside area.
Damage to Club Property The person booking the function is responsible for any damage to the Clubhouse or the golf course caused by any of their guests.

Cromer Golf Club has established a high reputation as a Function Centre. Club Directors, Managers and staff recognise how important your special occasion is, and endeavour to ensure it is memorable by providing excellence in presentation, food quality and service.
Transport for Photos in grounds Complimentary golf carts are provided to transport the Bridal Party to the Lake for Photographs. Depending upon Golfing commitments.
Private Bridal Lounge Room The Bridal Party are welcome to use our private Ladies Locker room, where you will be served your own canapés and drinks after your photographs.
PLEASE NOTE CONFETTI SPRINKLES, STARS or GLITTER of any kind is not permitted to be used inside or outside of the Clubhouse.
Table Décor The Rooms have round tables seating 8 - 10 guests per table. All linen including tablecloths and napkins are white. You are welcome to provide your own decorations or you may like to choose from our list of contacts for suitable decoration arrangements.
Cancelation Deposits are not refundable as they secure the booking for you and preclude other bookings on this date. If canceled booking is later filled with another equivalent booking, the deposit may be partially refunded at the discretion of the Club. Where the event is canceled within 10 weeks of the booked date, 50% of the estimated revenue will be payable. According to the Registered Clubs Act, 1976, all booking’s are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of the Cromer Golf Club who reserves the right to not accept bookings.
In the unfortunate event that a confirmed function has to be canceled, the following policy will apply:
If canceled within fourteen (14) days but more than seven (7) days prior to the function, 50% of the food component of the menu will be charged. If canceled within seven (7) days, 100% of the food component of the menu will be charged.
Personal Property Cromer Golf Club will take all necessary care, but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of personal effects or merchandise left at Cromer Golf Club prior, during or after functions/seminars.
Damage to the Club The Organiser/Organization is financially responsible for any damage sustained to Cromer Golf Club property during their function/seminar.
Additional Meals Meals for entertainers and photographers are charged at $18.50 and include a main meal only.
Times We are sure that you will appreciate our commitment to our Club Members. Areas other than the function room and foyer and parking areas are not accessible to your guests. Please bear in mind when making your arrangements. All functions are based on a five-hour duration with guest required to vacate the premises within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the function. We ask that you advise your guests to consider the local residents and leave the club and parking area as quietly as possible.
Responsible Service of Alcohol The Board of Directors of this Club has adopted a policy promoting the responsible service of alcohol. In accordance with the law, any patron observed to be intoxicated will be refused service and requested to leave the Club premises.

Cromer Golf Club accepts cash and cheque as payment. Credit cards facilities are available, excluding Diners Club and American Express.
